Ethical Hacking in Africa
The 1000 Pentesters program facilitated by Cyber Intelligent Systems (CIS) prepares candidates for and concludes with the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) exam to obtain certification. The exam for the trusted credential is administered by the renowned EC-Council and certification is recognized worldwide. As the EC-Council puts it, “To beat a hacker, you need to think like a hacker”.
The program not only provides the curriculum to prepare for the certification, but an international support network of mentors and peers, a big differentiator when it comes to participants’ success. Our network of partners advises, coaches, and teaches participants in the program. Participants also have a network of peers who provides moral support and help them solve cybersecurity issues.
It also covers regulations, governance and ethics pertaining to cybersecurity. An important part of the program is pro bono work at non-profit organizations by candidates to gain hands-on experience in the roles of Project Manager, Incident Responder, and Communication Leader.
